Overall, my experience at Joe’s Soup Dumplings was delightful. The food was flavorful, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try and indulging in their mouthwatering dishes. Bon appétit!

Service was always circulating and there to help, greeters were kind, music was nice, lighting and atmosphere were relaxed and warm. Soup dumplings were spectacular and fried rice was good. You can watch chefs prepare your food as you eat, and as for the pricing, not too expensive, though not cheap by any means.

This is NEVER a disappointment. We came for the famous soup dumplings, we keep coming back for the wine, homey but stylish feel and that General Tso's chicken and scallion pancakes. My friends and I just visited again on August 2nd before taking in a movie. With a reservation, you can be in and out in under an hour, not feel rushed and enjoy this vast and delicious menu. Some of our other favorites outside what's names above are their classic pork dumplings and Hong Kong styled ribs. We usually eat family style for a little tour of Joe's!

One of the best Xiao Long Bao that I found in the US, also the 脆炸烹牛 Crispy Shredded Spicy Beef was fire, definitely I really recommend this place ???? …

We were in the neighborhood and tired of all the burger and pizza places around so headed over. We sat at the bar seats so my daughter could watch the chefs make the dumplings which is great for those with kids, as well. The service was pretty good. We didn’t get a lot of food but what we had was okay. Coming from Vancouver, the land of Asian food, the dumplings were really good. The beef chowder (weird name for it) was decent and the sweet and sour chicken (my kids choice) was too saucy to really enjoy.

The food was delicious, quick, and well-priced, but what really stood out was the service. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and when we weren’t quite sure how to attack the soup dumpling, one staff member was quick to give us advice. Then when I spilled a little soup on the front of my shirt, another staff member discretely brought me a shout wipe. We will definitely be back.

Finally got to check out Joe's Home of Soup Dumplings and it was delicious! The crab and pork soup dumplings were my favorite. I also really enjoyed the eggplant and the chicken with broccoli. The space is huge and is perfect for coming with a large group and sharing a ton of dishes! I can't wait to come back!

We make a point to come here every time we’re in nyc. The soup dumplings are AMAZING - we like the pork. The spicy cucumber is great in the summer, nor very spicy. The beef and green beans are STELLAR. Sitting at the bar/counter you can watch them make the xiao long boa. Restroom is in the basement at the bottom of stairs

if you like soup dumplings, you have to try this place. They are excellent. Just one warning. Do not go there 30 mins before closing. We walked in at 8:00pm the other night and were told that the kitchen was closing in 4 minutes. That’s unacceptable. If you show that your restaurant is open until 8:30, then your kitchen should not be closing in advance of that time. A good restaurant knows that they exist for their customers - not for the convenience of their staff. Otherwise, we love this place.

Amazing amazing Shanghainese and Chinese food. Got the gong bao ji ding, soup dumplings, steamed vegetable dumplings, moo shu stir fry, and more. The soup dumplings were great, bursting with flavor and soup. The moo shu pork with the thin pancakes to wrap it in may be my favorite. So flavorful and so dense. Can serve 6 ppl easily and kept us wanting more. Super clean and modern restaurant that can seat multiple people. Will definitely be bringing friends and family here more.

Came here for lunch with a coworker and while they didn't have any tables we were seated at the counter where we could see the live making of soup dumplings which was cool. Service was quick and easy. We ordered the pork soup dumplings and each got a lunch special. I got the beef with hunan spicy sauce. From this order, the waiter asked if we wanted hot sauce as well which was nice and proactive. The pork soup dumplings were great and juicy and the portion for the lunch special was pretty big. One thing is that the beef with hunan spicy sauce didn't taste one bit spicy to me, just tasted like peppers with beef. I would come back for the soup dumplings.
